I can’t find a specific image in the image library?

We are constantly adding new images to our online collections, however we do have a vast collection of transparencies that have not yet been digitized / keyworded. If there is a specific Hoberman Collection image that you have seen but cannot find through our image library please contact uk@hobermancollection.com and we will be happy to help you

PRODUCTION

Are hoberman collection images retouched?

The not-so-simple answer to this question is yes and no. Computer work of all Hoberman Collection images is strictly supervised by Marc Hoberman. All images are taken through the basic and minimal computer retouching functions (RGB to CMYK conversion, slight sharpening, removal of dust and scratches etc). Colour curves are adjusted to counteract the colour shift from converting the files to be print-ready, but we do not do any image manipulation and have a strict policy of no compositing.

Why do my book pages stick?

Some of the Hoberman Collection large format coffee table books have spot U.V varnished images on each page. This is an expensive and complex technique sometimes found on book covers but rarely on the inside of a book.

The Spot U.V varnish can sometimes cause static between pages creating a “ripping” noise, however this will not damage the book in any way.

Are hoberman products environmentally friendly?

Yes, all of our paper stock comes from long-term cultivated woodlands. Fibre material is of non-chlorine bleached cellulose filling and pigment coating consisting of natural products such as calcium carbonate and china clay.

Hoberman Collection cannot guarantee delivery times but we try our best to deliver book orders within 5 working days and Art Print deliveries within 10 working days. If your order is of an urgent nature and needs to arrive by a specific date please contact uk@hobermancollection.com


My delivery has arrived and there is a fault with my product, what do I do?

Hoberman Collection tries it’s very best to provide fault-free products of the highest standard. If your order has arrived damaged please contact us at orders@hobermancollection.com and we will replace the product for you free of charge.
